Seven days is long enough to arrive properly. You move through the Mara layer by layer, from highland woodland to river valleys, open plains and private conservancy, and you watch how the wildlife changes with each habitat.

The route runs gradually from woodland to savanna across the week. Nothing is rushed, and by the end of it you will understand the Mara the way our guides do.

Day by day

Your itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrival and Woodland Zone

   Transfer to lodge. Afternoon drive through highland woodland, forest elephant, buffalo, bushbuck.

2. Day 2

   Riverine Corridor Focus

   Full day along Mara and Talek River tributaries. Hippo pods, crocodile, leopard, and lion in riparian zone.

3. Day 3

   Open Plains Transition

   Full day across savanna grasslands. Cheetah, wildebeest herds, zebra. Long range viewing.

4. Day 4

   Big Cat Intensive

   Full day big cat focus using pre mapped pride territories. Extended sighting holds.

5. Day 5

   Private Conservancy

   Full day exclusive conservancy access. Walking safari option available.

6. Day 6

   Mara Triangle Access

   Full day in the Mara Triangle, consistently the highest predator density zone.

7. Day 7

   Final Drive and Departure

   Dawn drive. Breakfast at camp. Transfer to airstrip or Nairobi.
